Online Pet Checks Terms

These terms apply to Online Pet Checks purchased through Housesitter.ie.
Our Online Pet Checks provide practical written guidance based on the information, photos, and details you send us.
No live call is included.
How the service works
After purchase, you will receive a WooCommerce order confirmation email.
You must complete our Online Pet Check Intake Form and include your WooCommerce order number.
We can only start your review once we have received your completed intake form and any relevant photos.
Delivery
We aim to send your written plan by email within 2 to 3 working days after receiving your completed intake form.
If we need more information, we may contact you by email before completing the review.
What is included
Depending on the Online Pet Check purchased, we may review:
Aquarium setup, equipment, stocking, maintenance routine and water quality information
Aquarium setup planning, including tank size, filter, lighting, plants, stocking and maintenance routine
Pet home setup, daily routine, feeding area, sleeping area, safety, product choices and holiday preparation
What is not included
Online Pet Checks do not include:
Live video calls
Emergency support
Veterinary diagnosis
Medical treatment advice
Medication advice
Behavioural diagnosis requiring clinical assessment
Not veterinary advice
Our guidance is practical pet care and setup advice.
It is not veterinary advice.
We do not diagnose illness, injury, pain, disease or medical conditions.
For illness, injury, pain, urgent symptoms, medication questions or health concerns, contact a vet or qualified professional.
Aquarium advice
For aquarium checks, we can advise on setup, equipment, stocking, maintenance routines, water quality information and general care.
We cannot diagnose fish disease or replace veterinary care for aquatic animals.
Customer responsibility
You are responsible for providing accurate information, clear photos and relevant details.
Our recommendations are based only on the information you provide.
If important details are missing, our review may be limited.
Right to cancel and refunds
You may have a legal right to cancel an online service purchase within 14 days.
If you wish to cancel, contact us as soon as possible.
If we have not started reviewing your submitted information, we can cancel the order and issue a refund.
If you ask us to start the service before the 14-day cancellation period ends, and we have started reviewing your information, you may be charged a reasonable amount for the work already carried out.
Once the written plan has been completed and sent to you, the service is considered delivered.
If we cannot provide a useful review based on the information submitted, we may request more details or offer a refund.
Refund timing
Where a refund is due, we aim to process it as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after agreeing the cancellation or refund.
